UPDATE: For 2026, Surrey Outdoor Pools will be offering free swimming lessons for Surrey Residents aged 3-12 for Pre-School Levels 1 - 3 and Swimmer Levels 1 - 3.
Free Lessons do not apply to non-residents, Private Lessons, Pre-School Levels 4 - 5, Swimmer Levels 4 - 6, or Advanced Swimmer classes.
For people who have already registered, there is no need to reach out for a refund. If needed, we will contact you. You will receive an updated invoice once your refund has been processed.
Address verification is required by June 26th, after which you will not have access to the free Surrey Resident pricing. Please send a form of ID that includes an address to surreyid@tidesout.com. Please note that identification must be sent to that email; it cannot be done at the pools.

Parent & Tots 1-3 - under 3 years of age
Preschool 1-5 - 3 to 5 years of age, max. 4 children per class
Swimmer 1-3 - 6 years plus, max. 6 children per class
Swimmer 4-6 - 6 years plus, max. 8 children per class
Advanced Swimmer - 6 years plus, max. 8 children per class

Leisure Access Program (LAP)
The Outdoor Pool’s do take LAP registrations. We do not have direct access to the City of Surrey’s LAP participants so our staff need additional time to verify applicants with Surrey. This process can take up to 5 business days so It is recommended you create your user account and fill out the LAP Verification registration to have a seamless lesson day registration.
You will not be able to register for lessons at the discounted LAP rate until you have been verified. Individuals who register for lessons and then wish to be refunded the difference after applying for LAP will be charged a processing fee.
